Gravesend is an ancient town on the river Thames recorded in the Doomsday book of 1086 as Gravesham (still it's borough name) it was owned by the half brother of William the Conqueror. A thousand years on, Gravesend is a multi-cultural 'Thames gateway' commuter town with fast train access into London. The resting place of Pocahontas and the home to the recently developed Gravesend Gurdwara, Gravesend is steeped in history and we're proud to be a part of it!
